  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice (for creaminess without added sugar)
  • 1/2 ripe banana, frozen
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds ((for added fiber and protein)
  • 1 pinch ground turmeric (for color and health benefits)
  • A few ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)
  • to taste Stevia or monk fruit sweetener (for diabetic-friendly sweetness)

Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine the vegan protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, fresh lemon zest, frozen cauliflower rice, frozen banana, chia seeds, and ground turmeric.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Taste and add Stevia or monk fruit sweetener as needed for sweetness.

  5. Blend again until all ingredients are well incorporated.
